Family and friends may gather outside or be seated in the chapel before the arrival of the coffin. After the service, the family may choose whether the crematorium curtain closes or remains open, based on personal preference.
Following the cremation, we provide thoughtful guidance around the handling of ashes—whether you wish to scatter them, place them in a memorial, or keep them in a personalised urn.
Burial Services
A traditional burial may take place in a cemetery, churchyard, or natural burial ground, with or without a preceding service in a church or chapel. We tailor each burial to reflect your loved one’s wishes and the beliefs of your family.

Unattended Cremations (Direct Cremation)
An unattended cremation, sometimes known as a direct cremation, is a private, no-service cremation carried out without a formal ceremony or mourners present. This option is ideal for those seeking simplicity, affordability, or a low-key alternative.
While there is no service at the crematorium, families often choose to hold a separate memorial or celebration of life at a time and place that feels right. We’ll walk you through every step and help you decide if this option aligns with your needs and wishes.
